Luray Caverns

We spent the day at Luray Caverns today with friends Sam and Margi. I really like them; this was the first time I had met them. Dave works and golfs with Sam; Margi is visiting from Nebraska. Sam is simply here because that's where the work is.

We had intended to visit the caverns, but really went because they had been advertising a blues, bluegrass, and balloons festival. Hot air balloons -- how cool. NoT.

No balloons were there (it's too hot). The festival was one trailer with a band (most of the time), a vendor each for bbq, burgers, lemonade, and beer, and 2 crafters, one of whom had some of the gaudiest purses I've ever seen.

Anyway, the caverns were neat.
